In the heart of East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, a transformation is underway—and Iron Group Corporation is proud to be at the center of it. As part of the dramatic renovation of Avant Gardner’s iconic Brooklyn Mirage venue, our team has been tasked with designing and installing a 1,000 linear-foot custom iron fence to frame and secure one of New York City’s most legendary entertainment destinations.

The Venue: Where Innovation and Music Meet
The Brooklyn Mirage, part of the broader Avant Gardner complex, isn’t just a concert venue—it’s a globally recognized symbol of creative innovation in the world of live events. Known for its massive open-air courtyard, high-resolution LED walls, and world-class sound system, the Mirage has played host to artists like Eric Prydz, Tale of Us, Charlotte de Witte, and countless others.
Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Mirage is evolving. Its new design features one of the largest heavy timber event structures in the U.S., a revolutionary kinetic shutter system, and an immersive 270-degree visual environment. As the venue pushes boundaries inside its walls, Iron Group Corporation is helping redefine its outer edge.
Our Role: Building a Perimeter that Matches the Experience
With high traffic, tight security protocols, and a demanding architectural vision, this isn’t just another fence. Our mission is to deliver 1,000 linear feet of expertly crafted iron fencing that not only ensures security and crowd management, but also complements the Mirage’s bold, futuristic design.
The fencing is being fabricated using premium structural-grade iron, known for its strength, longevity, and weather resistance. Each panel is precision-welded and powder-coated to ensure a sleek matte-black finish that will resist corrosion while maintaining a modern look.
This fencing will include:
Heavy-duty steel posts set in reinforced concrete footings
Custom-length panels for unique site elevations and angles
Matching pedestrian gates with commercial-grade locking systems
Smooth top rails and clean vertical picket lines that align with the venue’s industrial aesthetic
This installation isn’t just practical—it’s architectural. It’s designed to blend into the venue’s environment while standing strong through years of events, seasons, and wear.

Installation in Progress: A Coordinated Effort
We are currently in the active installation phase. Our skilled field team is working alongside site contractors, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of the fencing system with the venue’s ongoing renovation.
The process involves:
Ground prep and leveling
Setting foundations and post anchors
Precision alignment of fence sections
Field welding and final finishing
Quality inspection and safety testing
By coordinating closely with construction crews, we’re ensuring that each stage of the project stays on schedule and meets the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship.
Why It Matters
A fence defines boundaries—but it also defines first impressions. For a venue like the Brooklyn Mirage, that first impression must reflect creativity, strength, and identity. Our work will serve not just as a barrier, but as part of the venue’s architectural language—setting the tone for every guest who walks through its gates.
This isn’t just a construction job for us—it’s a partnership in building something iconic.

Built to Last, Designed to Impress
At Iron Group Corporation, we pride ourselves on our ability to combine structural integrity with visual design. From luxury residential properties to commercial institutions and public venues, we deliver fencing systems that balance form and function.
The Brooklyn Mirage project showcases what we do best: bringing craftsmanship to large-scale architectural metalwork.
What’s Next
As we move toward the final stages of the installation, we look forward to unveiling the completed perimeter and seeing it in action during the Mirage’s upcoming season. This fence will not only protect the venue—it will become part of the visual experience that defines it.
Follow us for updates as we continue working on this exciting project—and as always, forged in strength, built for legacy.
